Job Description
Description We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering data-driven solutions that support strategic goals. You will translate business needs into functional and technical requirements to support application development, system integration, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements + Document functional and technical specifications for new and existing systems + Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements or automation opportunities + Support project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, testing, training, and post-implementation support + Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams to ensure alignment and clear understanding + Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance efforts + Develop process flows, wireframes, and documentation to clearly communicate functionality and expectations + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Requirements Required Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role + Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and business process modeling + Proven experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements + Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Experience with SQL or data analysis is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments + Exposure to ERP, CRM, or other enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP) + Understanding of APIs and system integrations + Background in finance, healthcare, logistics, or a relevant industry
