GDIT is looking for Senior Endpoint Device Management Administrator who holds an active TS/SCI clearance. Must be onsite

Headquarters, MacDill AFB, FL. Tasks in direct support of the government include, but are not limited providing or assisting the team provide the following services:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Device Deployment:

Installing and configuring new Wyse thin clients on the network. Move and/or migrate existing thin clients to appropriate device groups. Assigning devices to user groups and managing device profiles. Bulk deployment of configurations and updates to multiple devices. Replace and decommission end-of-life devices according to

policy.

Configuration Management:

Test and apply approved APPS/OS/BIOS/certificates to test device groups. Maintain and manage user test group user and device list. Update user test script document with relevant test cases. Organize new test group communication and test case deployment; spearhead any troubleshooting effort between vendor and test users to identify and resolve technical or functional issues Managing application access and permissions for users on thin clients. Configuring security policies like password complexity and user authentication.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Monitoring device health and performance metrics within the Wyse Management Suite. Identifying and resolving issues related to device connectivity, application performance, and user access. Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with thin client configurations and firmware updates.

Patch Management:

Deploying firmware updates and security patches to Wyse thin clients. Managing patch cycles and ensuring timely updates are applied.

User Management:

Creating and managing administrator accounts on the Wyse Management Suite. Assigning administrator user profiles and permissions to different groups of users.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generating reports on device usage, performance, and compliance. Analyzing data to identify trends and potential issues with the thin client infrastructure.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 1+ years of experience

Required Skills:

Experience providing Thin Client OS Support, End User Support, Wyse Management System (WMS) Policy Configuration, Information Technology (IT) Support. Must have a strong understanding of network troubleshooting, group policy concepts, and VMWare Horizon client functionality. Must have Wyse Management Suite proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the Wyse Management Suite interface, features, and configuration options.

Must have troubleshooting skills:

Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to thin client connectivity, application loading, and user access.

Requires System administration experience:

Familiarity with basic system administration tasks like user management, security policies, and system updates. Certifications CompTIA Security+ certification with valid CE status. TS/SCI clearance required.

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 – $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
