Our clients range from small local businesses to Fortune 500 firms in multiple industries. What does a Global Trade Digital Strategist do? The Global Trade Digital Strategist is responsible for supporting the needs of the Trade Compliance team and clients associated with CIMS, Allyn’s proprietary Trade Compliance Software. This role involves coordinating with the Trade team and the IT team as well as occasionally with Clients and other Suppliers such as brokers.

40 hours, 08:00 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday (some weekend / after-hours support / on-call rotation may be required)

Compensation:

$50,000 to $55,000

Position Classification:

Full-Time;

Data Mapping Skills Responsibilities:

Support new SaaS development projects including but not limited to the following: assist with client sessions to understand needs and parameters of the project, write and submit features to Allyn IT development team, assist with testing new functionality Communicate with the IT development team to answer any questions and clarify the desired functionality. Coordinate with the IT development team to ensure priorities and urgency levels are understood, and follow up to ensure projects are completed on time. Manage onboarding of new clients in CIMS including but not limited to the following: identify whether client user access is needed and provide if necessary, identify audit logic parameters as applicable, submit features to IT development team to create new business, setup audit, create new dashboards, etc. Manage onboarding of Brokers into CIMS system including but not limited to the following: create and maintain an onboarding packet to be shared with brokers, set up users within CIMS, provide training on CIMS use to broker team, map data feeds to be sent to and received from broker systems, submit features to IT development team to create new business, setup FTP, etc. Set up new users with access to the system and adjust user access when needed Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan Assist with standardizing and documenting Allyn systems (mapping, fields, reports, etc.) Provide support to internal and external teams regarding bugs in CIMS software, including troubleshooting and following up with Allyn IT development team to resolve issues Meet regularly with internal team to solicit feedback and ideas regarding bugs or suggestions for system improvement. Support other projects and tasks as needed upon request from the Global Trade Compliance Director Run standard reports and metrics on a regular basis. Analyze and review findings with Senior Global Trade Consultant and Global Trade Compliance Director Ensure client satisfaction Exhibit Allyn core values Possible travel to client locations as needed Participate in writing publications and articles Develop and implement process improvements Maintain and abide by SOPs and work instruction Allyn is a privately-held professional services firm established in 1992.
