IT Configuration Analyst Location:

Onsite – Miami, FL Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Jr. IT Configuration Analyst to support IT configuration and compliance processes for one of the leading energy companies in the United States. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Miami, FL , with a focus on executing and monitoring Configuration Item (CI) lifecycles, maintaining data accuracy in the CMDB, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls. Key Responsibilities Execute daily operational activities related to provisioning, monitoring, and decommissioning of Configuration Items (CIs). Ensure that CI baseline changes comply with internal and external regulatory requirements based on classification. Investigate and resolve unauthorized CI baseline deviations by working with subject matter experts. Collaborate with the Asset Manager to ensure accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) through audits and data validation. Function as a technical liaison for change control processes, supporting impact analysis of proposed changes. Collect and analyze data to support configuration management metrics and process effectiveness reporting. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance IT configuration and compliance practices. Apply ITIL framework best practices in configuration management activities. Maintain documentation and support end users during testing or troubleshooting as needed. Required Qualifications Must currently reside in Miami, FL (onsite role – no exceptions). Minimum 3 years of experience in IT process configuration, configuration item lifecycle management, or a related field. Knowledge and experience with CI provisioning, baseline maintenance, compliance, and decommissioning . Hands-on experience supporting CMDB operations and working alongside Asset Managers. Familiarity with change management processes and controls. Understanding of the ITIL framework and configuration management principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-starter with a team-oriented approach. Minimum High School Diploma or GED ; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

$25.00 – $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
