Job Description
W2 Contract Onsite in Fort Walton Beach, FL BOM Coordinator 25-30/
HR Responsibilities:
Acts as a liaison between Engineering, CM, and Procurement. BOM Coordinators will work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure BOMs reflect the latest design changes and production requirements.
Ensuring Accuracy:
BOMs must be accurate and up-to-date to prevent procurement and manufacturing/fabrication errors and ensure smooth production. Work closely with Procurement ensuring that the BOMs are accurately depicted in the digital system of record (AIM); maintaining document and version control with CM and QA; ultimately, BOM Coordinator provides Procurements with accurate, validated, and updated BOM needs and requirements Reports and tracks design changes with cross-functional teams to ensure timely incorporation of design changes and Engineering (change) Orders, ultimately ensuring all BOMs are up to date, accurate, and ordered.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Microsoft software; must specifically have experience using Excel at an intermediate level. Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Logistics, Production, or Engineering Environment. Ability to organize and manage large amounts of data while maintaining BOMs accurately is crucial. Understanding flow of material items to support procurement activities.
