Business Systems Analyst Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description Position Overview:

We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Application Support Analyst with strong SQL expertise to support and maintain critical business applications. This role involves troubleshooting issues, resolving user requests, managing system configurations, and working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure optimal application performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for enterprise applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests. + Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data. + Serve as a liaison between end users, developers, and vendors to diagnose problems and implement fixes or enhancements. + Monitor application performance and perform routine maintenance, including patching and updates. + Maintain documentation for application configurations, standard operating procedures, and issue resolutions. + Participate in application testing, implementation, and post-deployment support for system upgrades or new deployments. + Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements. + Assist with report creation and data extracts using SQL and reporting tools. + Manage access controls and user permissions in accordance with company policies. + Work closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions or support tasks.

Requirements Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in application support, IT helpdesk, or similar technical role. + Proficient in SQL (queries, joins, data validation, etc.). + Experience supporting enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or custom applications. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. + Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira. + Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support tasks simultaneously. Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus): + Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). + Familiarity with business reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Reports). + Understanding of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python). + Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
