Job Description
How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The part time Flights Ops Support role provides subject matter expert support to key projects and needs inside of Delta Professional Services (DPS). This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis supporting the business systems team with PowerBI and analysis. This position will report to the Business Systems Manager.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
+ Analyze operational data and prepare weekly performance reports and visual summaries. + Support Power BI development to enable data-driven decision-making. + Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to support business decision-making and operational efficiency. + Ensure data integrity, automate routine reporting tasks, and support systems updates. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and fulfill data-related project tasks. + Research and propose improvements for analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting processes. + Document processes and assist with the development of data and reporting standards. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. + Proficiency or a good working knowledge in Tableau and/or data software systems + Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI + Must be able to work alone as well as in a team environment. Must be self-motivated and possess strong written and oral communication skills. + Work in a fast-paced, newly established environment while maintaining an attention to detail
