Job Description
Perform map editing, digitizing, map production and support to spatial data consumers. Leading and improving the forest data management as well as keeping the forest information systems updated. Provide internal and external clients with expertise related to spatial analysis, land sales and acquisition support, due diligence support, land use regulations, and environmental analysis. Leading the design and maintenance of associated databases and enhancements to TTGs forest management system. Engaging with clients throughout TIG/TTG (Accounting, Property Management, Asset Management, Portfolio Management) to anticipate their data needs and develop databases, reports and other products. Incorporate new assets and information into the companys information systems and establish specific procedures to ensure timing, proper data management standards and quality controls. Deploy and support current mapping and data sharing technologies; ensure proper use of applications on mobile and desktop devices; provide training and guidance on TTGs system usage among other.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Forest Economics, Natural Resources Economics, Environmental Management, or a related forestry, natural resources, or Geographic Information System field and three years of experience with Data and Relational Database Management.
Familiarity with GIS enterprise geodatabase management, deployment, and maintenance of field apps for data collection and sharing.
Experience with QGIS.Experience with Trimble Forestry software (i.e., Cengea or LRM).Proficiency with ESRI suite including ArcGIS PRO.
