About the role:
As a Release & Deployment Management Analyst, you will be part of a team focused on delivering releases to our clients. This may include implementation, post-implementation and ongoing production support releases to meet the operational needs once a client is considered Business as Usual (BAU).
The Release & Deployment Management Analyst will be client-focused and may be client facing while building a trusted relationship with the client, enhancing client satisfaction and delivering high quality releases with stability and reliability. The Release & Deployment Management Analyst will collaborate with project or production support business analysts, development, QA and other technical teams in order to manage the full life cycle of releases.
About the team:
Digital One LFI engages with large financial institutions to deliver FIS’ Digital Suite of Retail products – Consumer Studio, Account Opening, Banker Sales & Services and Teller. The Professional Services team works directly on client engagements to develop and deliver against our clients’ digital strategy & roadmap. We are looking for talented resources to join this dynamic team that will grow alongside our solutions.
What you will be doing?
Participate in release planning, scope and timeline negotiation
Advocate for release management best practices and standards
Proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies throughout the SDLC
Maintain release calendar and contact distribution lists
Ensure changes are properly documented, tracked and communicated to stakeholders
Conduct release readiness reviews and obtain required signoffs
Create deployment/release plans/playbooks as required
Coordinate release activities during the change window
Support post-release monitoring for issues requiring triage/fixes
Track issues found in the release process and help drive continuous process improvements
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams (internal and external clients) to ensure release requirements are met
What you will need:
Extensive knowledge of SDLC and release management
Experience working with both software and infrastructure projects that are highly technical in nature
Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
Knowledge of financial services industry
Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely differing viewpoints
Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
Ability to handle on demand requests and adapt to changing requirements
Ability to react quickly, work under pressure and expedite requests when required
Bonus if you have:
DevOps/SRE
Technical background
Project Management
Experience in supporting production clients and meeting SLAs
General knowledge of financial solutions technology

The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 – $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
