Days/WEEK. IT Business Partner (Finance)

BEST CLIENT

seeks an experienced IT Business Partner to join theirfinance team. The ideal person will bridge the gap between IT andfinance, leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting andoperational efficiency. The role is responsible for enhancingfinancial reporting, streamlining accounting processes, andoptimizing JDE utilization while collaborating withcross-functional teams to improve financial systems and reportingaccuracy.

Key Responsibilities as follows:

Strategic alignment Work closely with Finance leaders to understand their businessstrategy and objectives, ensuring IT projects align with thesegoals. Serve as a liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring alignment ongoals and projects.

Process Improvement:

Support teams in identifying and implementing technology-drivenimprovements in financial processes. Enhance the journal entry workflow to ensure compliance, accuracy,and efficiency. Automate key accounting processes, including monthly FX rate entry,bank reconciliation, payment runs, cash receipts, payroll entries,accruals and allocations.

Automation Initiatives and System Optimization:

Assess and deploy underutilized JDE system controls to improvefinancial data integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Evaluate JDE system utilization to identify gaps, recommendenhancements, and implement optimizations that drive businessvalue. Drive the automation of critical financial processes, such as thoserelated to inventory and production, to improve efficiency andaccuracy

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Develop and automate financial reports, including work ordervariance reporting, monthly consumed cost analysis and fixed assetreporting. Enhance reports for Inventory and Production by leveraging JDE,Insight, and Power BI to provide greater accuracy, real-timevisibility, and actionable insights for decision-making. Work with Finance and IT to build Datawarehouse for accuratereports – one source of truth.

Data Visualization:

Utilize tools like Power BI to create segment reports and enhancedata accessibility for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Expert level functional expertise in most or all of the followingJDE modules: General Accounting, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Pricing,Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Accounting as well as experiencewith reporting tools like Hubble and Power BI. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology,or a related field. Proven experience in finance and reporting, ideally within an ITbusiness partner role. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement andautomation. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technicalstakeholders. Strong project management skills with experience in managingmultiple priorities. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus. Experience in manufacturing or inventory managementenvironments. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliancestandards. Any ERP experience a big Plus Client
