The Specialist I, Application Managed Servicesis responsible for assisting clients in meeting theirorganizational goals and objectives at an application level. Thisrole will be responsible for implementing new software andupgrading the NextGen application suite. System configuration,client training, and issue troubleshooting and resolution. Collaborate with teams to develop strategy for client specificroadmap, product optimizations, new product implementation, andsoftware upgrades, and change management. Assess current system workflows and configurations; identifyopportunities for alignment with NextGen best practices and modelbuild system. Implement new software and upgrade the NextGen applicationsuite. Deliver application-level support and expertise to clientsduring active implementation by conducting system configurations,testing, training, go live support, and post implementation issueresolution. Prepare, lead and execute presentations, training, and worksessions with a strong command of the audience both internally andexternally. 25%-50% travel may be required, depending on clientrequirements and business needs. Flexible hours including weekend work may be required withadvance notice. Perform other duties that support the overall objective of theposition.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree. Or, any combination of education and experience which wouldprovide the required qualifications for the position.
ExperienceRequired:
1 – 2 years’ experience in relevant discipline such as:implementation and training, consulting, health care/privatepractice, or healthcare IT providing similarservices/products.
License/Certification Required:
NextGen Certified Professional within 90 days of onboarding.
Established NextGen Certified Professional is a plus.
Knowledge,Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Healthcare IT software implementation andtraining. Software applications, workflows, system configuration,client training, and troubleshooting resolution bestpractices.
Skill in:
Building relationships; interpersonal, written, andvisual communication; analytical, problem solving, detail oriented,troubleshooting, project & time management, and presentationskills.
Ability to:
Drive projects to a successful outcome both in ateam environment and independently. Communicate, influence,establish trust, and demonstrate results with multiple stakeholdergroups. Recognize and diffuse stressful situations. Quickly assessclient sensitivities, communication style, and organizationalculture and adapt project to ensure success. Be passionate aboutcontributing to an organization focused on continuously improvingclient experiences. Ability to balance competing priorities andmultiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
