JOB SUMMARY
The POC for Warehouse Management IT Solutions serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, warehouse operations, and IT teams. The position ensures effective communication, alignment of system requirements with business needs, and smooth implementation and support of WMS technologies. The POC serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, warehouse operations, and IT teams ensuring effective communication, alignment of system requirements with business needs, and smooth implementation and support of WMS and related functions. This role will work closely with representatives from our customers and each department/division within the organization to develop/maintain processes and systems in the VMI warehouse. Main counterparts will be Customer, WH Manager, Local Super Users and System Specialists in Europe. Candidate should have a passion for leveraging Systems capabilities to solve business challenges. The ideal candidate should have a solid knowledge of
ERP, WMS
systems and integration solutions along with a good understanding of operational VMI processes.
Responsibilities:
- POC for our customer to address system needs and ongoing maintenance
- Establishing working relationships with internal resources as well as external professional services providers.
- Provide end-to-end project leadership and/or participate as a team member for projects including sprint panning, development, deployment, test and training of new functionality and integration with other enterprise business systems.
- Assist with feasibility assessments or pre-studies for new initiatives and define requirements based on customer and operational needs to create specifications for system or operational process changes
- Engage with appropriate business stakeholders to effectively plan (cost, resource & time), execute, and communicate the project progress.
- Establish working relationships with internal resources as well as external professional services providers
- Ensure compliance by defining & ensuring adherence to established processes through mentoring and training Internal Super Users/Process Specialists
- Create and maintain documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides (e.g., system maintenance policies and procedures, and security policy and procedures).
- Ensure data integrity of systems and reports
- Manage RCA and implement preventive actions for recurring of major IT incidents
- Manage coordination with Local IT responsible or global specialists for implemented related functions (eg.
Printing solutions, MDM etc)
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or corresponding qualifying work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in directly related responsibilities
- Deep understanding of core system features and WH standard processes, operational reporting and analytics, workflow automation, customization, and integration capabilities.
- Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in dynamic/fluid situations.

- Experience in Integration solutions (preferably Azure)
- Experience with databases, specifically SQL.
- Experience working with SSRS and Pivots/Cubes in Excel.
- Experience with decision support, financial reporting, and dashboards.
