We are currently hiring a Business Systems Analyst to support our Client. Key Responsibilities Analyze business problems and document workflows for multiple projects Gather and write clear business and technical requirements, user stories, and use cases Create process flows, wireframes, and mockups (using tools like Balsamiq or Figma) Conduct root cause analysis and recommend practical solutions Manage product and sprint backlogs; assist Product Owner in Agile ceremonies Perform quality assurance and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Facilitate meetings, capture decisions and action items, and provide regular status reports Collaborate with developers, PMs, testers, and stakeholders to drive project outcomes Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in business analysis across Agile and Waterfall environments 5+ years of Agile Business Analyst experience (Scrum knowledge required) Proven experience translating business needs into clear technical specifications Experience writing SQL queries (Oracle SQL or SQL Server) for data reporting Skilled in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project) Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or CBAP Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) Experience working with the State of Virginia or other government agencies Work Location & Requirements Must reside within 2 hours of Richmond, VA Hybrid role: Onsite 2-3 days per week (mandatory) Local candidates only•in-person interview required How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed or email it directly to Please include: Job
