The successful candidate will analyze, design, and develop complex Enterprise Content Management (ECM) applications using Java, JSP, and Dojo, while supporting the long-term enhancement and reliability of our ECM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and develop complex applications using Java/JSP and Dojo widgets in connection with IBM FileNet. Perform advanced troubleshooting and provide recommendations for resolving technical issues in FileNet environments. Customize and extend IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and/or IBM Case Manager to support dynamic UI components, search filters, and business logic plugins. Develop integration solutions using FileNet P8 APIs and web services. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including operating procedures and development workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely updates and effective communication with managers and stakeholders. Support urgent tasks during evenings or weekends when necessary.
Required Skills and Experience:
2-5 years of experience in ECM application development, specifically with IBM FileNet , Content Navigator , and/or Case Manager . Strong experience with FileNet P8 API-based integration and web services. Hands-on experience customizing IBM ICN/Case Manager interfaces: search, filters, services, UI components, and plugin development. Proficient in Java , JSP , and Dojo frameworks. Preferred Skills and Experience (Nice to Have): In-depth knowledge of FileNet P8 Platform Core Components and Base Products (IBM Content Manager, IBM Enterprise Records, etc.).
Familiarity with:
Workflow systems (e.g., in-baskets, roles) FileNet object models (Object Stores, Documents, Taxonomies, Subscriptions, Choice Lists) JSON, EDS, widgets, and custom case manager widgets WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Administration Console for Content Platform Engine Content Search Services and Case Analyzer Experience with SQL Server and strong SQL querying capabilities. Comfortable using Azure DevOps, GitHub, TFS, and Jira for task and defect tracking. Knowledge of SSL certificate management using tools like java keytool or IBM iKeyman . Experience with Kofax Capture or IBM DataCap . Ability to configure HTML5-based image viewers.
