We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst atour manufacturing facilities across the United States. In your new role, you will support key manufacturing IT systemsincluding Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and ManufacturingExecution Systems (MES) of Siemens Mobility GmbH across multiplemanufacturing locations (estimated domestic and internationaltravel 30%), within an existing and evolving system landscape. Weare looking for an excellent communicator to collaborate withSenior Managers and other business leaders to translatesophisticated technical ideas into clear terms, so any proficiencyin the German language is a plus! What your day-to-day will look like: Be responsible for the support and operation of ManufacturingExecution System (MES) and related secondary systems in theManufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software landscape Serve as the key contact for manufacturing IT system providersand plant managers, handling ongoing services and new demands. Take part in designing and establishing new warehouse setupswithin current or new plants, integrating them into the existingsystems. Steer the strategic development of MES and EWM systems andoversee global migration projects. Coordinate with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure smoothtechnology integration improving efficiency and productivity. Develop and implement custom solutions and cloud-based hostingapproaches, including requirements and their approvals. Work with partners to resolve incidents and identifysystem-wide improvements. Lead multi-functional projects, ensuring timely andbudget-compliant delivery. Serve as a local authority on new trends and technologies inmanufacturing automation and digital technologies. To thrive in this role, you have: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,with a focus on Logistics or Industrial Engineering, or equivalentwork experience. At least 3-5 years of experience working with ExtendedWarehouse Management (EWM) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)to effect change and foster innovation within the team. Solid understanding of inventory management, warehouseoperations, project and budget management, and supply chainprocesses. Demonstrable experience in SAP configuration and customizationwith SAP modules: MM, PP, EWM, IM, and Basis. Knowledge of software such as LogoS or Siemens OpsCenter is anadvantage. Secure handling of Windows Servers and hosting ofweb-applications (preferably with IIS) in combination with secureauthentication methods, e.g. with SSL or X509 certificates Experience in system integration with REST APIs, ODATA orsimilar technologies Knowledge in SQL Database management and SQL programminglanguage Skills in Cloud infrastructure and virtual cloud networks,preferably with Azure Cloud Platform Knowledge in one of the following script- or object-orientedlanguages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C# Experience with server monitoring software, like Checkmk, Cactior Nagios This position is based in either Sacramento, CA, Pittsburgh, PA orLexington, NC. The base salary range for this position inSacramento, CA is $119,900-$140,900, and the annual incentive is10% of the base salary.
