Job Summary:
Protective Padding Specialist will be responsible for creating quotes and artwork that will be presented to the customer. The focus of the Protective Padding Specialist is to move the product line forward in its entirety. Developing new products, producing product documentation, and continuing to provide ways to improve the product line. Expected knowledge of Microsoft Office software as well as common design software like CorelDraw and the Adobe creative suite are essential to the job function. The Protective Padding Specialist will work to foster relationships between the Engineering department and the other departments within the company. Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to: Create a work environment that focuses on Teamwork, Clear expectations, and open communication among teammates and other departments. Development of new products while also improving existing products-determine needed materials, production methods, processes, and procedures, to provide on-time delivery for our customers. Provide technical assistance during the manufacturing process Create manufacturing drawings/blueprints for manufacturing – approving all drawings/blueprints according the customer requests or specifications Quoting project/proposal cost estimates; Respond to and resolve customer inquiries/ in a timely and accurate manner Knowledge of products must remain up-to-date and current Create, edit and update Production Orders within an ERP environment (VISUAL Manufacturing). Provide assistance to customers – including but not limited to creating price quotes, entering and processing orders, problem resolution, answering installation questions, product specifications Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers/dealers Work cohesively with multiple departments within Fisher Athletic Identify ways to improve products, processes within the company Develop layouts/mock ups of Fisher Athletic products with customer logo/artwork
Requirements:
Experience using CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator preferred. Proven experience using Office-i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Strong technical background and proven track record of inventive problem-solving techniques Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task Must be willing to work in a team environment Experience with ERP and/or SAP systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a team – leadership and motivational qualities Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
