JOB SUMMARY

This role primarily focuses on providing onsite support and maintaining all laboratory computerized systems. This role requires a scientific laboratory background, familiarity with laboratory workflows, and working with instrumentation that has integration with computerized systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONISIBITIES

Support Laboratory data collection and support applications: Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Particle Sizers UV/VIS Spectroscopy Resolve issues using appropriate troubleshooting, helpdesk ticketing, in coordination with other team members and subject matter experts. Providing technical assistance for scientific equipment and software performing maintenance, necessary repairs and assisting with data analysis Provide exceptional customer service to laboratory operations staff. Diagnosing and resolving computer hardware problems or failures Designing and testing new system features to improve efficiency. Provision accounts for new users/terminated users as well as password administration. Manage Hardware and software inventory for laboratory computerized systems. Additional projects and responsibilities may be added at the supervisor’s discretion. Oversee data management of computerized systems, maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations, such as

FDA, 21CFR

Part 11, ISO17025 Lead Data Integrity program, by initiating the necessary assessments when applicable and owning the remediation of any gaps that are discovered during the assessment phase. Create basic documentation – SOPs and User Manuals

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification includes a bachelor s degree in science (i.e., chemistry, microbiology) or related field preferred with a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with computers. Required to work on-site five days per week. Experience working in a Pharmaceutical or similar lab environment is a plus. GAMP, CSV, 21CFR

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability and skill to perform the detailed job requirements noted above competently, safely, and proficiently. The candidate must have experience with installing, monitoring, maintaining, and configuring computer systems and networks. Solid knowledge of PC hardware and operating systems of desktops along with basic server knowledge. Knowledge of common printers, printer drivers, and printer mapping techniques will be essential. Individual must be able to quickly learn innovative technologies and applications. A initiative-taker, motivated person who possesses good people skills capable of effectively interacting with all departments and client personnel. A collaborator with the ability to seek direction or act independently as the situation demands.
