Under the direction of the Manager Performance Measurement, the System Sweeps Analyst is responsible for remotely verifying the performance of Triborough Bridges and Tunnels Authority’s (TBTA) tolled facilities. This position plays a key role in the monitoring of TBTA’s toll collection systems in use for the Central Business District Tolling Program (CBDTP) as well as its Open Road Tolling (ORT) system and contributes to the protection of MTA’s revenue. This role observes and analyzes all performance issues and the overall health of each lane of TBTA’s toll collection systems. Performs live monitoring of each facility and toll collection point to ensure that both the CBDTP and ORT systems are functioning correctly. Provide on-going and as-needed support in the implementation of CBDTP, including system acceptance testing and live system monitoring. Assist in the production of the department’s monthly performance reports and make recommendations and develop initiatives to improve performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in business, technology, engineering, or another related field Additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of education Two (2) years of relevant finance / auditing, technical experience, or tolling and Intelligent Transportation Systems experience or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications, particularly Excel The ability maintain focus when performing repetitive auditing tasks General understanding of audit and QA procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with toll collection systems, auditing, technical experience, inspections, or facility sweeps Knowledge of or experience with performance measurement roles Effective research, analytical, writing abilities and communication skills Knowledge of computer software and hardware systems and their application in an operating environment Knowledge and understanding of toll collection systems. Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, or other reporting tools like Tableau NYS Driver’s License
