Application Analyst Lafayette, NY Job Duties:

Plan and support overall business systems, which include, but are not limited to Electronic Data Interchange, Oracle Warehouse Management System, Oracle ERP Fusion cloud, Order Management System (OMS), Direct Store Delivery System (DSD), Microsoft SQL Databases, and Transportation Management technological goals. Develop, maintain, and improve reports coming from any or all business systems with a data-centric mentality. Analyze all data coming inbound and outbound of all business systems. Develop interfaces and provide support to users and IT staff. Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Develop, prioritize, and lead the execution of technology initiatives for all business systems that result in continuous improvement, cost effectiveness, and service quality. Develop, train, and deploy application change management control processes to support efficient application development and production releases. Evaluate hardware and software acquisitions. Coordinate the deployment and management of current and future business systems and solutions across the organization with an eye toward integration and efficiency. Evaluate procedures to ensure all business systems software and operations adhere to applicable internal protocols, and external laws and regulations. Troubleshoot problems related to business systems and reports. Implement changes using established testing procedures and change control. Develop and execute test scripts. Ensure system solutions fit in with application architecture. Prepare project documentation according to IT policy and standards. Ensure compliance with GMP’s, SOP’s, corporate and/or plant policies, rules, and regulations. Implement, develop, and procure applications. Utilize ERP, MRP, WMS, MES, TMS, OMS, and DSD systems. Apply Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other equivalent data visualization tools. Implement SQL and other application platforms for data gathering and reporting. Perform technical financial data analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in position offered or related position including experience in application procurement, development, and implementation; utilizing ERP, MRP, WMS, MES, TMS, OMS, and DSD systems; applying Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other equivalent data visualization tools; and implementing SQL and other application platforms for data gathering and reporting. Must also have background in technical financial data analysis.

Salary:

$93,600 – $116,500
