Position Summary Are you a strategic thinker who loves solving complex problems with data and technology? Join our team as a Business Systems Analyst and become the crucial bridge between operational goals and transformative technology solutions. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in reimagining how business gets done—through insightful analysis, process redesign, and system implementation that delivers measurable impact. You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate operational needs into smart, scalable solutions. From identifying inefficiencies and streamlining workflows to configuring systems and generating actionable reports, you’ll enable better, faster decision-making across the enterprise. Your work will shape the tools and platforms that drive organizational success. Description of Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, gather, document, and analyze business requirements for new and existing systems. Translate business needs into technical specifications and system configurations. Develop, test, and deploy system changes and enhancements across platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, or other enterprise applications). Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support business intelligence and strategic planning. Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and system integrations. Work to troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes. Conduct gap analysis and recommend system or process improvements. Create and maintain process or system development documentation, data dictionaries, and training materials. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems. Provide user training and support. Determine how changes affect the business and its systems. Provide recommendations regarding the evolution of business systems. Responds to inquiries and provides advice regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs. Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system difficulties. Liaises with outside vendors to support relevant systems. Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks. Perform other job duties as assigned. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs. Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and similar platforms. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools. Proven experience with data analysis and visualization tools. Power BI preferred. Extremely organized with great attention to detail. Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize. Ability to adapt to change. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems. Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully. Ability to act as a team player. Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred. At least 4 years of proven experience in business systems analysis or a similar role. Experience with system configuration in MIS, CRM, or other business systems. Work Environment The noise level in the office work environment is usually low to moderate. May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special program events. Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds at times. Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
