Weare looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Marketing to workas a liaison between IT and Marketing team partners. The idealcandidate helps build solutions that scale and support pre-salesinitiatives, including lead flow processes, lead scoring, andcampaign management. You understand the end-to-end customerlifecycle, and you have experience working with tools likeSalesforce and Marketo. You’re not afraid to learn new systems orunderstand how tool integrations can be used to further support thecustomer lifecycle. You will work with business partners,end-users, and management teams to improve processes and workflows,draft requirements that help us scale, and identify how to enhancethe end-users’ experience. You are technically savvy, proactivelycommunicate and anticipate your partners needs, take ownership inambiguous situations, value attention to detail, and aren’t afraidto dive into scenarios with little background knowledge. You makestrong recommendations that drive improvements. What You Will BeDoing

  • You like change, and can adapt to the changing prioritiesof the business. You see yourself as a life-long learner andproactively develop new skills.
  • You develop expertise inElastic’s top of funnel process and workflows and understand theimpact to business metrics and analytics.
  • You advise theMarketing team on business process and technology development inSalesforce, Marketo, and other related applications, including leadrouting, sales engagement, survey, and chat platforms. Youunderstand how the tools can integrate and enhance a team’sprocesses.
  • You are proficient in Salesforce Lightning featuresand functionality.
  • You craft functional requirements forprojects, and assist with feature design, requirements gathering,documentation, and end user testing for projects and featurerequests; you translate complex technical processes into thelanguage of your business users.
  • You are familiar with the agiledevelopment lifecycle, and you participate on a scrum team ofdevelopers, admins, and BSAs. You coordinate feature requestsacross multiple IT teams and business partners, includingidentifying priority against other requests.
  • You proactivelyparticipate in training and events offered by Salesforce and othervendors in our go-to-market stack.
  • You prepare presentations anddocumentation of existing and future technical processes.
  • Youfind opportunities to communicate proactively with partners onprojects and feature requests, and you make recommendations thatsupport company themes and team goals.
  • You participate and assistin key IT projects and ad-hoc projects; you update BSAs on relatedwork that impacts other areas of the business; you collaborate oncross-team initiatives.
  • You are comfortable in a distributed,diverse environment; you are able to work remotely andindependently; you prioritize your own tasks and collaborate withothers to ensure that work is done in a timely manner, with a sharpeye for quality and scale. What You Bring
  • 3 years of experiencein business systems analysis, business operations, or businesssolutions architecture focused on the Salesforce stack, within aSaaS or IaaS company.
  • 2 years of experience in one or more of thefollowing areas: marketing operations, sales operations, customersuccess operations, or account management.
  • Experience withSalesforce Sales Cloud, and knowledge of one or more boundarysystems, e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud,Marketo, Outreach, Drift, ZoomInfo.
  • Experience designing andsupporting large scale, technically complex solutions betweenSalesforce and its boundary applications.
  • Comfortable navigatingand deciphering configuration and code within Salesforce to createdocumentation on existing automation and system architecture.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
  • You have abackground in standard Marketing methodologies, lead flow, andcampaign management.
  • You are comfortable establishing a strongrapport with management, and capable of aligning to their goals andobjectives to craft long-term technology solutions that supporttheir needs.
  • You have strong problem solving, critical thinking,and design thinking skills.
  • You have good interpersonal skillsand are a strong communicator and collaborator within your own teamand beyond.
  • You fit requirements and process to an architectureand design that optimizes for efficiency and impact. You’repassionate about documentation.
  • You can explain sophisticatedsystems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to otherswho may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written andvisual presentations.
