Job Description
•Universal Conversion Technologies II, L.P.•seeks Data Migration Lead in
Philadelphia, PA:
Lead data migration and software development projects for insurance policy administration systems; Provide technical support to pre-sales team in RFP responses and product demos; Ensure project deliverables are met and develop resources strategies for project support; Drive the data migration needs of the client around: policy administration, legacy data, business processes (life and annuity administration systems: LifeComm, Life70, CycberLife, wma and similar); Act as a subject matter expert on technical processes that requires knowledge of Cobol, MVS assembler, PL/I, JCL, SQL; Solve incompatibilities between customer needs and legacy system data; Create, document, and modify requirements using automated tools; Lead efforts to identify and solve source and target system data gaps; Develop and document unit and integration testing using automated tools; Support the Project Manager with statuses and follow ups; and, Supervision of approximately 10-12 Computer Systems Analyst employees. •Requirements•: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Actuarial Studies, Management Information Systems, or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Knowledge of:
Waterfall methodology; JIRA methodology; Insurance policy administration and processes; wmA, Payout, RPS, Vantage, SQL; and, Data migration activities within the insurance industry. National or international travel required approximately 25-50% of the time.
