DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties of the position will include, but are not limited to: Supervise the configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. Facilitate and manage the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. Provide change management and product configuration management guidance. Recommend improvements to existing processes. Oversee the integrity and security of databases and work with development and maintenance teams. Responsible for Configuration Management issues associated with maintaining and controlling hardware inventory. Provide Change Management and Product Configuration Management guidance.

REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Education:

bachelor’s degree. The candidate must have proficient knowledge in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Requires 5 years of experience in the field of configuration management, preferably within DOD, and the ability to multitask and re-prioritize based on deadline requirements. This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.
