This includes monitoring system consoles for error messages, failures, and network malfunctions. The Core Systems Analyst is also responsible for fulfilling requests for core processing changes, adhering to strict change control and documentation procedures. Duties & Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for automation for daily data movement and processing. Generate good will by building good relations and provide competent, courteous, and concerned service to all members and employees. SME for Core System operations and capabilities. Assists Help Desk with overflow calls, tickets and branch visits. Creates and maintains process maps/data flows. Optimize Integration processes with automation software, AI and RPA. Operate, observe, and monitor midrange systems, database applications, and peripheral equipment for faulty output and errors to ensure overall correct operation procedures. Adjust, manipulate, and respond to console requests, commands, workflow procedures, and job runs. Analyze and determine source of system errors, malfunctions, job stoppages, and program information to ensure that operation standards are met and upheld. Identify and resolve system issues in order to maintain services, enhance capabilities, and prevent system outages. Report system problems to appropriate technical staff and confer with them to resolve production issues. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues for end-users, and assist with end-user questions or programming inquiries. Establishes and maintains communication with 3rd party vendors to implement and troubleshoot data processes. Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users, via voice mail, email, or in-person communication. Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction. Follows up to assure and report problem resolution. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications Education/Certification & EXPERIENCE:
Required Knowledge:

Proven experience in the operation and automation of data processes, as well as data analysis and processing methodologies, and database applications. Practical knowledge of data input and output procedures, job control processes, and system backup protocols. Associate’s degree 2-3 years of experience with automation software (OpCon, Jenkins, etc.) Experience with banking core software and processes highly desired. Experience creating technical designs documents, technical specifications and implementation plans Linux / UNIX highly desired.

Experience Required:

3 to 4 years of related experience.

Skills/ABILITIES:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize integration processes Well organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to assist and train others. Able to use PC and terminal keyboards, computer hardware, and all related technical equipment.
