Systems Programmer/Analyst Location:
Partial Onsite – Must be available onsite at least one day per week (Tuesday required) and as needed
Work Hours:
9 AM – 5 PM (Occasional overtime/weekends when on call)
Job Summary:
We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Systems Programmer/Analyst to bolster and refine our expansive systems infrastructure. This role demands programming, debugging, and enhancing system software, while ensuring technical standards and disaster recovery protocols are upheld. The perfect fit will possess robust analytical skills, a profound understanding of operating systems, and a background in systems programming, integration, and performance enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, isolate, and debug system software issues, ensuring problem resolution.
Review and design system software and hardware configurations.
Coordinate system software installation, testing, and maintenance.
Review customer requests, security patches, and audit requirements.
Provide guidance to project teams and evaluate vendor-supplied software packages.
Establish and implement enterprise-wide technology guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR 4 years of relevant experience OR 2 years of relevant experience + Associate’s degree in a related field.
8+ years of IT experience, including extensive systems programming experience.
Required Skills & Technologies:
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
In-depth knowledge of operating systems, system architecture, and systems programming.
Experience with Microsoft products and Azure.
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Ability to analyze system software and recommend performance enhancements.
Strong understanding of integration methodologies, security best practices, and disaster recovery.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Background in user experience analysis and process optimization.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Experience documenting technical requirements and creating process flow diagrams.
Strong collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders and development teams.
