JobDescriptionOpportunity at a Glance The Business Systems Analyst position is responsible for managingand building Registrar and Degree Audit related configuration inBanner, and DegreeWorks. This involves coordinating with BusinessOperations, Registrar Operations and technical teams to definerequirements, assess impact, do the actual build in the system andperform testing. This position also handles day to day cases withregards to student degree audit corrections, program progress guideexceptions, scribing updates if needed, program and courseconfiguration in Banner, and other registration-related systemmaintenance activities. Responsibilities Handle program and course build and configuration in the Bannerstudent information system. This involves creating new courses andmanaging changes to existing courses (e.g. attributes, credit andbill hours, etc., updating equates and pre-requisites). Update and correct student degree audits to ensure thatstudents are able to see an accurate picture of their programrequirements and status in both Banner and DegreeWorks. Perform daily and scheduled production maintenance tasks andfulfill customer requests. Ensure that SLAs are met, timely updatesare entered on the customer relationship management tool andrelated business processes run smoothly. Troubleshoot and provide solutions to Production issues, andanalyze root cause to find a more permanent fix. Maintain existing and create new program progress guides in theDegreeWorks Scribe to fulfill business requirements Maintain existing degree audit setup in the Banner studentinformation system. Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business needs intodeliverables within the due date. Provide clear and timely statusof tasks and initiatives to stakeholders. Test any system updates related to systems managed. Performdata validation and testing of new and existing Banner andDegreeWorks functionalities and technical solutions to satisfybusiness requirements Develop and maintain accurate documentation to capture andcommunicate business requirements, process design, policy andprocedures which clearly communicate with key stakeholders.

Collaborate with partners to develop business requirements leadingto successful project outcomes. Inform and drive innovativeapproaches for assigned solutions. Adheres to project methodology,change and quality management, and departmental procedures. Good ability to interact in a team environment with peers andmembers of other teams that might even be located remotely Completes other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Performcompliance-related tasks as required by the auditgroupQualifications Must have Banner orDegreeWorks Student Information Systemsexperience. Experience in performing registrar functions. Experience in higher education. Experience in configuration and scribing in DegreeWorks or asimilar application. Understanding of degree audits and handlingrelated changes. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills;ability to communicate effectively at all levels of theorganization. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform duties and responsibilities ontime with moderate supervision.

Additional InformationIn support ofthe pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expectedsalary range for this position is between $42661.58 and $75065.24.Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permittedby law, such as experience and training; geographic location;licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets;and responsibility.
