Job Summary
The BOM Analyst – Custom Shop, is the owner of master data management at the factory. The BOM Analyst will manage a complex ever-changing set of data. A successful candidate will exhibit strong time management skills, be comfortable managing large sets of data and working with multiple functions of the organization to bring consistent application of master data. The BOM Analyst will continue to refine processes for tracking BOM updates and modifications.
Essential Functions
Main duties
Maintain master data integrity, through analysis of data
Build new BOMs as needed for new products as they are introduced to the factory
Amend BOMs in accordance with ECN distributions
Attend and support BOM review meetings, making corrections as identified by review team
Perform individual reviews of pre-existing BOMs against spec sheets
Communicate required changes to plant controller regularly
Create new part numbers/items in ERP system as needed in support of NPI, ECN, manufacturing trial, and other applicable processes
Maintain all item & BOM attributes, including but not limited to part number, description, line type/phantomization settings, default warehouses/BOM line warehouse, BOM line positioning, quantities, units of measure, & flushing principles
Follow strict adherence to established

Adhere to standard work and processes established by engineering team
Perform all aforementioned responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy
Required Skills/Abilities
Understanding of design, copy, and photography, and digital creative deliverables
Proven track record of facilitating workflow and deadline adherence Communicating and building strong connections with cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
Excellent multitasking, project management and communication skills
Critical thinker and problem-solver
Have the eye of a hawk when it comes to copyediting, ensuring that all creative materials are buttoned up and client ready
You’ll be the gatekeeper in ensuring everything that goes out our door is buttoned up, on-brand, and hits our goals
Required Education and Experience
5+ years in a manufacturing environment or relevant experience in a different industry
Experience managing BOMs, specs, or data within ERP, MES, or other similarly applicable system
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
