Description Provides moderately to highly complex consultativeservices to an assigned group of customers within a loss preventionspecialty area or territory. Conducts on-site evaluations,evaluates data, and creates/implements service plans to controlcustomer source of risk, losses and costs. Provides all lines riskassessment services and information to track progress anddemonstrate the value of doing business with Liberty Mutual. Servesas a trainer/mentor to less experienced consultants in theirspecialty area at the discretion of their manager. Enhances theCompany`s leadership position in the safety field throughdeveloping key relationships. This position will work withmulti-line clients, with an emphasis on construction in Mississippiand Alabama. Technical expertise in Construction and Propertypreferred. Provides an array of expert consultative services to anassigned group of customers within a specialized technical area orterritory. Conducts on-site evaluations, evaluates data, andcreates/implements service plans to control customer’s source ofrisk, loss and/or costs. Provides expert technical support to otherloss prevention employees by advising them about resourcesavailable, legislation and applicable regulations, technology,industry trends and effective methods to reduce risk, improvecustomer satisfaction and demonstrate the value of doing businesswith Liberty Mutual. Monitors and evaluates the technical qualityof loss prevention services provided by less experiencedconsultants. At the discretion of their manager, provides coaching,mentoring and training to enhance their development andeffectiveness. Collaborates with management in developing policies,procedures, service tools, technical resources, techniques and newproducts in order to support and enhance the delivery of lossprevention consulting services. Participates in actively acquiringand retaining profitable business. Identifies new businessopportunities for LP services and may design and execute programsthat improve results and increase the number and quality ofservices customers choose to buy. Enhances Liberty Mutual` sleadership position in the safety field and increases brandawareness by developing a network of contacts. QualificationsBachelor’s degree with coursework in math, engineering or relatedareas (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of directly relatedconsulting experience in loss prevention or progressivesafety/heath field. Candidates are typically working towards (orobtained) an advanced degree and/or professional certification inone or more of the following areas: CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, orCPE. Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in a specializedfield, service planning and delivery, risk assessment, riskanalysis, solutions management and progress measurement. Fullyeffective interpersonal, writing and other communication skillsrequired to develop and maintain relationships with customers,peers, and industry contacts. Demonstrated ability to retrieve andenter information using various proprietary software applicationsand create/modify documents and complex spreadsheets usingMicrosoft Office suite. Position requires regular travel.
