1893 Responsibilities Intergraph Corporation d/b/a Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (“Intergraph”) is the leading global provider of engineering and geospatial software. Intergraph seeks a Senior Software Consultant responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technically-complex support issues. Interact with solution development and product ownership teams to provide feedback, discuss and document design issues, investigate problems, and develop solutions to meet the technological needs of users. Develop technical documents, instructions, and training for internal and external purposes. Accurately document activities and outcomes, possess in-depth knowledge of multiple ALI solutions, and stay up-to-date on industry technology and trends. Serve as a subject matter expert to assist in driving changes and improvements to ALI solutions. Facilitate communication and delivery of highly complex resolutions. Contribute to scheduled status updates on critical issues related to ALI and customer management. Develop strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management systems. Conduct customer training when necessary. Telecommuting is an option for this position.

Education / Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience working with Computer Aided Design in the Process, Power, & Marine industry. This position also requires demonstrated knowledge and experience with: Smart3D software, with focus in process plant design and specifications; engineering drawings; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms; creating engineering design data; troubleshooting Smart3D design issues; training customers on software products; relational databases (Oracle and MSSQL); and troubleshooting Oracle and SQL.
