Technical Documentation Consultant Job Description We are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Consultant with expertise in C, Networking, Fedora, Redhat, Unix, Linux, and Coding to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in documenting our in-house system and creating comprehensive documentation for other employees to utilize effectively. Responsibilities Develop and maintain software applications using C, Networking, Fedora, Redhat, Unix, and Linux. Document the in-house system and create detailed documentation for other employees. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration and system functionality. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner. Essential Skills Proficiency in C, Networking, Fedora, Redhat, Unix, and Linux. Strong coding and hardware knowledge. Experience in documenting systems and protocols. Ability to write clear and concise documentation for internal use. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in software development. Knowledge of file systems and protocol writing. Work Environment The position is onsite in Huntsville, AL. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on cutting-edge technology and innovation.
