Atlantic Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and versatile IT Generalist to join our growing IT team. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and resourceful individual to make a significant impact by providing comprehensive IT support across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skillset, including programming abilities, project management experience, a passion for training end- users, and a commitment to thorough documentation. You will be instrumental in maintaining our IT infrastructure, developing internal tools, and empowering our employees to effectively utilize technology.
Responsibilities:
Programming & Scripting:
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot internal applications and scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, SQL) to automate tasks, enhance data management, and improve operational efficiency within our logistics environment.
IT Project Management:
Participate in and potentially lead small to medium-scale IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. This may involve the implementation of new software, hardware upgrades, or system integrations.
Hardware & Software Support:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals. Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues in a timely and effective manner.
End-User Training:
Develop and deliver engaging training sessions and materials to educate employees on the use of various software applications, IT systems, and best practices.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, system configurations, software applications, and training materials.
System Administration:
Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, servers, and security systems under the guidance of the senior IT staff.
Technical Problem Solving:
Analyze and resolve a wide range of technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior IT staff as needed.
Vendor Management:
Assist in communicating with IT vendors for hardware, software, and support services. Stay Current with

Requirements:
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or PMP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications..
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT roles with at least 2 years in a project management or leadership capacity.
Adaptability:
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.
Customer Focus:
Commitment to understanding and addressing end-user needs to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and produce clear documentation.
IT Infrastructure:
Knowledge of server management, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and hardware troubleshooting. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
