About Job:
Contractorwill report into a team with ~9 IT Project Managers; however, theCW will primarily work within the IT Customer Engagement groupsupporting the Salesforce implementation project and related work.
The Project team is of considerable size as it is covering 3 ITCustomer Engagement workstreams and includes the support of aSalesforce implementation partner. 15 resources. Developing andmanaging to a project plan including management of documentation,risks and issues, status reporting, general coordination, andensuring resources are on track for deliverables. Will need to bein sync with project leads work closely with key project teammembers and stakeholders. Understand the Project scope, objectives,and requirements/processes that govern project work execution.
Resource will need to get up to speed regarding all aspects of theproject and be able to start coordinating and being confident inproviding the project oversight. The breadth of the project, themultiple business stakeholders and maintaining focus on the toppriority. Top 3 Must-Haves (Hard and/or Soft Skills): 1. Excellentand proven PM skills (documentation, communication) 2. Salesforceimplementation knowledge 3. Business understanding andcommunication Top 3 Nice-To-Haves (Hard and/or Soft Skills) 1.Experience leading a Salesforce implementation 2. Technicalknowledge of Salesforce data integrations 3. Coordinating with a3rd party implementation partner.
Job Description:
The Program andProject Management job organizes, plans and controls resources andprocesses to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time,quality, and budget constraints. Under limited supervision, thisjob utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirementsto manage small to moderate sized projects for the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Organizes project teams byassigning individual responsibilities, developing projectschedules, and determining resource requirements necessary toensure project is successful. Drafts the estimates of costs,resources, and time required to complete each phase of a projectand allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met.
Implements an established project plan and monitors progress andperformance against this plan. Provides updates to managementregarding the status of projects including cost, timing andstaffing. Resolves obstacles to completing project on time and tobudget. Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports tocommunicate the status of the project within and beyond the projectteam. Works with outside contractors to ensure they are integratedinto the project and that the organization receives satisfactorystandards of service.
Educational Requirements:
University (Degree)Preferred;
