JOB OVERVIEW

The Technical Publications Analyst manages and maintains all technical publications in the central and dispersed libraries in accordance with the Company and customer directives for immediate retrieval of accurate technical information, as well as maintaining the Company’s Internal Shop Procedures Manual and works Instructions. Responsibilities Perform provisioning and acquisition of technical data from Original Equipment Manufacturers, aircraft/ engine manufacturers and product support. Perform recording, distribution and control of technical data including engineering publications and customer publications. Periodically validate the currency of all technical publications. Review all technical publications/ data including temporary revisions With internal IT support, maintain a computer database of all controlled technical publications by updating the technical publications revision status, and currency. Draft, update, and maintain the Company’s internal procedures and work instructions as needed and directed by the Company and Leadership. Lead the approval, release, training, and monitoring of Company’s procedures. Carry out tasks as deemed necessary and valuable to the Department or Company. Ability to communicate efficiently with all employee levels.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience preferred. Experience in aviation technical publication system role is essential High School Diploma or equivalent. Understand, read, and speak English.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience. MRO experience. Bachelor’s degree in library, information science, administration or related field. Understand, read, and speak Spanish.
