We are seeking an ideal candidate for the role of Technical Analyst I with a proven background in supporting various technology hardware and software. This individual should feel comfortable working both independently and collaboratively on tasks requiring exceptional analytical and development skills. The Technical Analyst I works under supervision of the Director of Technology Services and provides computer applications support for our fast-paced, growing team. Essential Job Functions Install, maintain, and provide support for end user computers, IT assets, and other technology related devices. Support business applications and software to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure hardware. Open, troubleshoot, and escalate tickets using a service desk tool. Deploy security updates and verify compliance with information security policies. Assist in maintenance and compliance with backup and recovery policies. Support basic database operations, such as table creation and query composition. Maintain current inventory and asset management records. Provide basic training to new users for computer operations and office procedures. Build sustainable relationships and trust with stakeholders through prompt, courteous and interactive communication. Perform related work as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent writing and communication skills. Possess exceptional attention to detail in all tasks, consistently maintaining organized systems and workflows. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server preferred. Requires sitting for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must possess an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience with computer hardware assembly and repairs. Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office products. Proficient in desktop computer configurations within Active Directory environment. Experience in cybersecurity, including knowledge of security best practices, risk assessment, and incident response.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license. Current CompTIA A+ certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment. The position will at times require working outside of normal office hours to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance windows.
