IT Systems and Database Analyst 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Atlanta, GA 30303 IT Systems and Database Analyst – FGR Support Center The IT Systems and Database Analyst is a key member of the Fifth Group Restaurants and Bold Catering & Design support team. This position is focused on the day-to-day support of the restaurants, catering operation, and support office. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to take direction and effectively prioritize the workload given. The individual must demonstrate a sense of ownership and collaboration, with a focus on meeting the needs of the end-users. A successful IT Systems and Database Analyst is open, empathetic, and can apply a broad range of technological knowledge in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a friendly and helpful service mindset.
Schedule:
The FGR Support Center is located in Downtown Atlanta. This is an in person position – in office and on site at restaurants. Typical schedule is Mon-Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM with the understanding of flexibility as needed supporting a business that is primarily nights and weekends.
Areas of accountability:
Database Maintenance & Request Fulfillment Database management for Restaurant systems, Aloha Configuration Center, Restaurant 365, Olo Online Ordering, Caterease, and other company applications. Point of Sale request fulfillment, including relevant updates to integrated systems. Daily invoice review and database item maintenance, and recipe management via direct input. Maintain the integrity and performance of company databases. Maintain PCI compliance, perform quarterly systems scans and submit to appropriate authorities. Software/Hardware Management Develop and maintain Intune configurations to stage laptops and other devices during initial deployment, perform ongoing maintenance, and decommissioning activities. Physical setup of workstations, monitors, docking stations, cable management. Maintain server room organization and equipment. Handle ordering/shipping/receiving of any IT equipment. MSP coordination for network, firewall, and wireless AP changes, updates and maintenance. Troubleshoot/maintain Security Camera DVR access. Work with MSP to resolve any network issues blocking access. Work with in-house R&M team to resolve user access issues. Ticket Management & End User Support Monitor IT Support Zendesk and IT Support email inbox, accountable for ticket assignment and time to completion. Remote and onsite support to end users and company’s Microsoft-based computer network, peripheral devices (iOS devices, printers, cell phones, VoIP system, conference room equipment), network hardware, and operating system upkeep. Tier 1 application support (OS, Office suite, NCR applications, Back Office, VPN) Assist in creating, delivering, and updating training material for current and new systems. Assist in resolving end-user and support issues to ensure a positive impact on user satisfaction. Update support tickets and provide status information. Escalating both internally and externally where required according to defined escalation paths. Onboarding/Off-boarding of employees in systems such as Active Directory, Exchange Server (email signature setup), and networked multi-function printer address book and access. Perform password maintenance across company systems. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: 3+ years’ experience maintaining company databases and providing dedicated IT support to end users. Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service. Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software Experience creating and managing source data and manipulating database information. Ability to execute logical database design Knowledge of POS systems (Aloha preferred), data warehousing, food and beverage cost/inventory management systems. Attention to detail with solid critical thinking/analytical/diagnostic skills. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge/experience of basic networking devices. Demonstrate a sense of priority and urgency and perform tasks efficiently Strong work ethic and team player. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products. Preferred, but not required: Experience in restaurant operations Active Directory & Intune experience SQL experience Firewall/AP knowledge Physical requirements: Intermittent standing and walking Prolonged periods sitting and working on office machinery Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and rotation of the spine, elbows and wrists Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on an occasional basis Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words or writing and in the process of communicating with employees and external vendors Constant use of POS/Computer systems Ability to disconnect, lift and move PC’s and Monitors to new desks.
