County Administrator Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and motivated professional to fill a hybrid role that combines the technical expertise of an IT Specialist , the analytical skills of a GIS Analyst , and the detail-oriented focus of an Inventory Control Clerk . This position supports a broad range of operations, including IT infrastructure, geospatial data analysis, and inventory tracking systems.

Key Responsibilities:
IT Specialist Responsibilities:

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based systems, printers, and networking equipment. Manage user access, email accounts, and system security policies. Support server operations, data backups, and patch management. Experience or familiarity with

AS/400 IBM

systems is highly encouraged.

GIS Analyst Responsibilities:

Collect, organize, and analyze geospatial data for internal use and reporting. Develop and maintain interactive web maps and dashboards using ArcGIS Online . Edit and maintain GIS layers and perform spatial analyses to support operational decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver map-based insights and visualizations. Integrate GIS data with tabular databases for reporting and analysis.

Inventory Control Clerk Responsibilities:

Monitor, track, and update inventory records for assets and supplies. Conduct routine audits and reconcile physical stock with digital records. Input and manage inventory data using software tools or ERP systems. Coordinate receiving, tagging, and disbursing of inventory items. Work closely with procurement and IT staff to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Geography/GIS, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). At least 8 years of experience in one or more of the listed roles; hybrid experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS tools (preferably ArcGIS Online ), and inventory systems. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, multitask, and support various departments.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with AS/400 (IBM iSeries) systems and terminal emulation tools. Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and related geospatial software. Use of barcode/RFID-based inventory control systems. Help desk or IT ticketing software experience.
