Responsibilities Position SummaryThe primary responsibility of the position is day-to-day Workday operation support, acting as the technical expert, while developing strategic solutions to support the company’s roadmap. Job Responsibilities
Serve as Subject Matter Expert with Workday Benefits managing benefits, inbound and outbound vendor integrations for ongoing administration and special projects such as the Annual Open Enrollment cycle
Support the Workday Benefits, Absence, and Payroll areas by leveraging strong project management and support expertise, proficient analytical capabilities, creativity, flexibility, and process orientation of a functional expert
Assist with ongoing Vendor Management, serving as a technical liaison between third party benefits vendors, internal technical development team, and benefits stakeholders
Monitor benefit integrations output and performance by troubleshooting errors and identifying data trends that require robust solutions
Collaborate with HRIS team and payroll to resolve data discrepancies impacting the benefits vendor integrations, payroll processing cycles, and ongoing operations
Maintain thorough documentation of processes and projects such as requirements, technical file specs, and other project artifacts
Assist with system configuration and conduct unit testing and defect management in support of operational and project tasks
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Vendor Testing by augmenting test scenarios accordingly
Assist with inquiries, questions, and resolving issues such as Help Desk incidents
Partner closely with the HRIS team, business, and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient
Lead Workday continuous improvement projects, such as improving processes, workflows, integrations, and data security
Ensure data integrity within the HR management system; generate standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards as needed
Provide support on Workday releases and updates, which includes researching functionalities, conducting testing, and educating user group on enhancements, as applicable
Research and minimize reported problems or pain points within HRIS system, driving resolutions and recommending corrective actions
Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written requirements
Assist with broadening internal knowledge of Workday through hands-on training to HRIS and other support teams
Coordinate and participate in troubleshooting of reported issues to ensure timely resolution
Independently troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and correct technical problems
Implement testing to meet business requirements and perform functional system testing
Develop and maintain reports and HR metrics that support business processes, providing the organization with data to make business decisions
Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
Performs other duties as assigned
Position Specifics Qualifications Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Four (4) years of professional experience in business systems analysis, solution design and deployment experience
Three (3) years of experience in configuring/implementing Workday in various modules in a post-implementation environment
Understandings of Workday HCM Core, Benefits, Recruiting, and Absence
Ability to collaborate in virtual and remote environments
Ability to speak/read/write in English
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Workday functional expertise and familiarity with technical offerings (EIC/Core/Connectors/Integrations)
Three (3) years of technical writing and training experience
Workday Pro Certification
