IT Audit Consultant Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Job Title:

IT Audit Consultant

Remote (Potential monthly office visits for local candidates in Cary, NC)

Contract Job Responsibilities:

Assist in managing control risk, IT controls, and compliance standards
Conduct internal audit activities (financial, operational, compliance, IT, SOX, SOC reporting, etc.) and suggest process automation and tech-based solutions
Review control testing documentation, including general IT controls, automated controls, reports, and interfaces
Facilitate the use of tech tools for reviewing, designing, and implementing products and services
Support audit engagements by planning the approach and scope, preparing the program, determining procedures, and applying internal audit standards
Create internal control documentation for the engagement, including process and data flows
Uphold a respectful and courteous work environment with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility

Skills Required:

Minimum of 4 years IT Audit experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
4+ years of relevant work experience
Certification as a CPA, or CISA
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
