Barclays Services Corp. seeks Lead IT Analyst, VP in Whippany,NJ (multiple positions available): 1. Conduct analysis of majorsystem enhancements, performance improvements, system productivity& product adoption. 2. Liaise with Operations, CDO, CTOorganizations in ensuring that the application components aredesigned within the defined standards and are in line to meet thebusiness outcomes. 3. Manage analysis & migration of businessfunctionality from legacy application flow to strategicapplications. 4. Liaise with the Program/Project Management,Business Team, and Development team members in delivering thesolution. 5. Perform solution design & review to ensure theimplemented functionality matches the expectations and is in linewith coding standards & business expectations. 6. Design thestrategic IT architecture for real time event processing of trades,journals, books, and reference data among others. 7. Develop andmaintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards & othersolutions to visualize data. 8. Conduct investigations forstrategic benchmarking, business requirements specifications andfeasibility studies to identify improvements to business processesusing technological solutions. 9. Responsible for Functional andPhysical Architecture for Operations Technology Servicesapplications. 10. May telecommute. Salary /

Rate Minimum/yr:

$211,000 per year Salary /

Rate Maximum/yr:

$214,000 per year Theminimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only basesalary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type ofcompensation or benefits that may be available . This position iseligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee ReferralProgram. Purpose of the role To support the organisation, achieveits strategic objectives by the identification of businessrequirements and solutions that address business problems andopportunities. Accountabilities Identification and analysis ofbusiness problems and client requirements that require changewithin the organisation. Development of business requirements thatwill address business problems and opportunities. Collaborationwith stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet theirneeds and expectations. Support the creation of business cases thatjustify investment in proposed solutions. Conduct feasibilitystudies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. Supportthe creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposedsolutions are delivered on time and within budget. Creation ofoperational design and process design to ensure that proposedsolutions are delivered within the agreed scope. Support to changemanagement activities, including development of a traceabilitymatrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implementedand embedded in the organisation. Plan resources, budgets, and policies;manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuousimprovements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures Ifmanaging a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planningfor the department’s future needs and operations, counsellingemployees on performance and contributing to employee paydecisions/changes.
