About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Product Analyst to join our dynamic IT Global Services Team at Everest, located at their US headquarters in Warren, New Jersey, USA.
The Technical Product Analyst will focus on improving the claims process and systems within the organization by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The successful candidate will work closely with Claims Operations, IT, and vendors to implement solutions that drive operational efficiency, enhance user experiences, and ensure seamless integration with core business systems.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead requirements gathering sessions with Claims stakeholders, including Third Party Claims Administrators (TPAs), Claims Adjusters, Managers, and other IT teams, to define business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Evaluate and document current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
Collaborate with IT teams and third-party vendors to design, test, and implement solutions for Claims management systems (e.g., claims administration, regulatory reporting)
Drive the analysis of system capabilities, perform gap analysis, and ensure that requirements are met through system configuration or customization.
Assist in the development of system specifications, ensuring the alignment of the system’s capabilities with business needs.
Work with stakeholders to establish timelines, define project milestones, and ensure successful delivery.
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), provide feedback, and ensure that final product meets business requirements.
Leverage industry best practices to streamline Claims processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall efficiency and quality of claims handling.
Provide insight into data trends and claims performance, helping business teams make data-driven decisions.
Serve as the key point of contact between business stakeholders and IT development teams, ensuring clearmunication and expectations management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in the P&C insurance industry, specifically within the Claims area.
Solid knowledge of the P&C insurance domain particularly Claims lifecycle, processes, and regulations.
Strong understanding of TPA Claims, Bordereaux Processing
Strong understanding of Claims Management Systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar).
Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documentingplex business requirements and processes.
Experience in system integration and familiarity with relevant software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel).
Understanding of insurance-related regulations andpliance standards in Claims area (e.g., WCIRB, NCIS, other state-specific regulations).
Excellentmunication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or MS in a related field).
Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), AINS, SAFE PO/PM.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
For NJ only: The base salary range for this position is $88,000 – $156,000 annually. The offered rate ofpensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
