What we’re looking for Spinnaker SCA, a Publicis Sapient company, is seeking a Technical Principal / Senior Principal Consultant with deep Blue Yonder ESP (Enterprise Supply Planning) expertise to lead complex supply chain planning technology engagements. This is a hands-on technical leadership role designed for experts who know how to connect the dots—across systems, data models, integrations, and real-world business needs. In this role, you’ll own the technical workstream from end to end: designing architecture, writing specs, defining testing protocols, and ensuring the seamless deployment of integrated planning solutions. Required qualifications Here’s what you need to bring to the table: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role.
7+ years of technical experience with advanced planning systems (10+ years for Senior Principal), including integration, data management, and customizations
Specific expertise in configuring and deploying Blue Yonder ESP and experience with related APS tools (Kinaxis, SAP SCM, o9, etc.)
Leadership of at least 2-3 full lifecycle Supply Chain Planning implementations, with a technical focus
Strong understanding of ESP technical architecture, including data models, interfacing, and customization capabilities
Experience with integration tools and APIs; knowledge of Sequencing (SEQ) deployment is a plus
Proficiency with SQL, Alteryx, or similar analytics/data transformation platforms
Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Willingness to travel to client locations based on project needs Experience that’s a plus You’ll stand out if you also bring experience with: Industry certifications (e.g., Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, PMP, APICS, ACPF, Six Sigma)
Experience leading technical change management and enablement programs
Knowledge of AI techniques and data science concepts as applied to supply chain systems
Familiarity with both Agile/Scrum and traditional SDLC (Waterfall) delivery frameworks What you’ll actually do
Lead technical delivery for Blue Yonder ESP implementations, including configuration, data architecture, and integration
Conduct technical assessments and fit-gap analysis for supply chain systems and planning architecture
Develop comprehensive technical specs, interface designs, data mapping documents, and solution blueprints
Translate functional business requirements into scalable, future-ready technical solutions
Design, manage, and execute testing cycles across unit, system, performance, and regression phases
Partner with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and post-go-live performance
Guide and mentor junior consultants and client developers
Provide technical leadership in proposal development and solution design efforts
Contribute to Spinnaker SCA’s knowledge base by developing reusable tools, assets, and internal training materials Additional info

Pay Range:

$70,000-180,000 USD + Bonus The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Spinnaker SCA. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
