Elastic is seeking ahighly-motivated professional to assist with leading and executingthe IT SOX Program and various financial, operational andcompliance audit projects in accordance with the Company’s InternalAudit Plan. Internal Audit Projectassignments provide an opportunity to collaborate with and developa deep understanding of various areas across the broaderorganization. What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and implement keyelements of IT SOX compliance, internal audits, and ad-hoc projectsthrough close collaboration with external auditors and businessprocess owners.
- Responsible for performing annual scoping of SOXcontrols, internal control testing for all IT SOX and first levelreview of others work. This includes identifying and evaluating thedesign and effectiveness of the key IT General controls,documenting results, and ensuring supporting documents corroboratethe test results.
- Identify internal control issues/exceptions andensure they are well-defined, root causes analyzed, discussed, andcommunicated with management.
- Identification of process andefficiency improvements within the control structure.
- Assist withupdates to internal control design to identify any design gaps andimplement new or revised controls.
- Evaluate new processes,policies, and systems to identify their impact on the SOX programand design the control landscape based on identified risks.
- Create and implement Internal Audit programs.
- Lead and/or assiston special projects as required.
- Collaborate with internal andexternal partners and respond to requests or issues in a timelymanner.
- Build trust and maintain positive relationships withinternal partners and cross-functional teams What You Bring
- 4years of internal audit, external audit, and IT Audit SOX relatedexperience.
- Bachelor’s degree required – major preference ofMIS/Accounting/Finance.
- CISA, CPA, CIA, CISSP or other relevantcertifications complete or in progress.
- Ability to multi-task andwork independently as well as in a team environment.
- The rolerequires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personalaccountability for achievement.
- Be adept in balancing the dualrole of independent, objective assurance provider and consultativebusiness partner; guide continuous improvement.
- Ability toquickly assess business processes and solve complex problems aroundbusiness processes, controls, and deficiencies.
- Excellent oraland written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Officeand Google applications including ability to create presentations.
- AuditBoard and NetSuite system knowledge is a plus.
