This Technical Analyst IV position is for the lead support ofthe FIS Savings/Time application and secondary on the FIS IMPACSapplication. A data subject expert for Savings/Time, responsiblefor delivering superior services acting as a liaison between theline of business and IT with a focus on end user experience such asuser interfacing, user flow, data flow, and/or other UI/UXstrategies. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professionalwith a full understanding of industry-wide business process andanalysis practices and organizational policies and procedures.
Defining and performing analysis, design, programming, planning,implementation, and supporting of some of the most critical systemssoftware and procedures with a focus on our long term technologyroad map which require technical and systems knowledge. TheTechnical Analyst manages plans, organizes, and controls projectswhich have an organizational impact as well as provides day-to-daysupport for complex applications systems. - You will support the FIS Savings/Time and IMPACS applications.
Providing SME services in answering questions, running dataextracts, researching and solving production issues.
- You willwrite business requirements including data retention specs, reportdefinition, and data security requirements for complex projects.
- You will manage Requests for Information (RFI) / Request forProposal (RFP) processes.
- You will contribute to the technologystrategy and employ Information Technology Governance policies,architecture methodologies, and SOA Governance policies.
You willdefine and conduct research which you will leverage for thedevelopment of multi-year technology roadmaps. In this position youwill identify technology gaps and present recommendations forremediation and act as project consultant across team’s projectportfolio.
- You will design and execute Disaster Recoveryprocesses.
- You will prioritize lines of business and/or ExecutiveFunding Committee (EFC) projects and enhancement requests. Thisincludes, creating business cases, participating in setting thestrategy and vision for the line of business, and annual planningand estimating.
- You will develop and maintain critical vendorrelationships.
- Mentors other analysts by providing oversight ofprojects or day to day support efforts.
- You will have advancedtechnical understanding of single application data flows acrossmultiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMSprinciples, tiered environments, Cloud environments, and welldeveloped project management skills.
Education & ExperienceRequirements This level of knowledge is normally acquired throughcompletion of (a/an) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology orComputer Science or related field of study and ¬¬/ or 5-7 years ofdirectly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics,or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Along with extensive experience supporting the FISSavings/Time application.
- Advanced Technical understanding of: oSingle application data flows across multiple applications oSoftware integration, system integration, and technology used oRDBMS principles and tools o Tiered environments (e.
g. development,testing, UAT, production, DR) o Application disaster recovery oLeveraging knowledge of Cloud environments o SQL Queries o IT andIS standards and concepts o Banking and payments industry andprocesses o Conducting fit gap analysis
