Job Overview:
This Sr. Analyst, Technology Sourcing role is within our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) team supporting the Technology Division. This team plays an essential role enabling Technology’s mission to deliver innovative solutions to our clients that align with LPL’s corporate strategy and objectives. The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting Technology’s Software commercial and contractual negotiations.
Responsibilities:
Establish strong relationships and partner with stakeholders in IT, Vendor Management, Finance, Legal, and Technology/Product to lead end-to-end sourcing of software solutions. Assist with the development of category plans; analyze software spend, vendor, performance, and external market trends to deliver actionable insights for both short- and long-term sourcing strategies. Develop and manage RFx processes to support business and technology requirements; analyze and make data-driven recommendations. Lead contract negotiations, partnering with Legal and the business to optimize overall value for LPL, including financial outcomes, service levels, and risk mitigation. Negotiate low – medium dollar & risk contracts with key IT vendors. Contracts include, MSAs, SaaS Agreements, EULAs, Orders, etc. Analyze software spend and licensing models to uncover cost-savings opportunities and drive optimization. Be a trusted advisor to our internal business partners, delivering insights that influence decisions and technology roadmaps. Track technology trends and supplier landscapes to support future-proofing of our software stack. Review contracts to ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures, and to escalate concerns to legal and business partners. Understand Technology’s operational needs while anticipating new opportunities. Process contract extensions, renewals and terminations. Enhance, prepare and deliver compelling Commodity / Spend reporting and presentations. Represent and advocate SS&P strategies and goals across the firm. What are we looking for? Requirements:
3-5+ years of Sourcing Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.
Core Competencies:
Natural ability to build & foster strong relationships with cross functional teams in order to maximize value add and create operational efficiencies. Proven experience in managing multiple projects, with an ability to prioritize individual workload based on business needs and deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to build bridges between cross-functional stakeholder groups. Attention to detail. Grace under pressure and a sense of humor!
Preferences:
Strong preference for prior Technology Sourcing background, with experience negotiating SaaS Agreements, On-premise licensing, EULAs, orders, Negotiation skills with demonstrable experience in negotiating win-win outcomes that meet the interests of all parties. Strong collaborator who delivers exceptional client experiences and thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. Pay Range:
$71,588-$119,313/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
