Regional IT Systems Analyst 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Smyrna, TN General information Job Title Regional IT Systems Analyst Ref # 20001433 Employment Type Permanent Department Information Technology Position level Engineer Date Monday, April 14, 2025 AESC Office Location Smyrna, Tennessee USA Description & Requirements Job Description Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to understand data needs and advocate for technical solutions; gather data from various sources including Industrial Engineering, Finance, HR, and others in order to clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency; establish appropriate end-user database access control levels; pull and report data from numerous databases using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems; design, develop, and establish metrics to provide strategic insights; analyze data trends to identify patterns and anomalies, and provide insights into potential issues and risks; use models to predict and identify potential system bottlenecks; develop and maintain BI solutions including dashboards and reports for executives, customers, and internal stakeholders to utilize when making decisions regarding business operations; visualize data and communicate findings effectively; utilize and apply knowledge of data management systems, SQL Server, relational databases, query languages, T-SQL, ETL tools, Python, C++, C#, TypeScript, software frameworks, Angular, .NET, Scrum methodologies, Agile frameworks, Linux, project management platforms, Jira, Confluence, and software application testing/debugging/issue resolving to perform assigned duties; apply knowledge of full software development life cycle support including designing, researching to implementation, code review, testing, UAT testing, production, and maintenance to complete assigned tasks; continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements, and apply the learnings to improve software products; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Jira and Confluence configuration supports business processes; and communicate complex insights to executives, managers, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

LI-DNI Qualifications Education:

Bachelors – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience:

Two (2) years in the position above, as a Software Engineer, as a Graduate Assistant, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements:

Experience must include: One (1) year use of SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, C++, C#, TypeScript, Angular, .NET, Scrum methodologies, Agile frameworks, Linux, Jira, Confluence, and software application testing/debugging/issue resolving. One (1) year of full software development life cycle support including designing, researching to implementation, code review, testing, UAT testing, production, and maintenance. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
