based systems. Tasks and Duties The Communications Engineer is responsible for the integration, operation, and maintenance of a variety of communications systems. This includes expertise in SATCOM (Satellite Communications), MILSATCOM (Military Satellite Communications), commercial transport systems, tactical radio systems, and network transport systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of communication principles and hands-on experience with diverse communication technologies. ) Manage video teleconferencing systems Process Satellite Access Requests (SAR) and Gateway Access Requests (GAR) Troubleshoot RF Communication and IP Network Transport Paths Coordinate with

for satellite operations Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Experience with tactical communications systems Knowledge of RF systems and satellite communications Experience with Harris radio systems and SATCOM terminals Understanding of network protocols and IP communications Operational understanding of Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) SATCOM system applications and use cases Familiarity with emerging communications technologies and usage (e.g. STARLINK, STARSHIELD, 5G, etc.) Required Education and Length of Experience Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 1 years’ experience OR 6 years’ relevant experience and industry/military certification(s) Travel Requirements Travel up to 25% is required.
