Mountain Ltd. has an opening for an OSP Engineer to work in theTallahassee, FL area! Since 1979, Mountain Ltd. has successfullycreated and supported turnkey engineering solutions for traditionaland wireless telecom providers across the United States. We are anational leader in the industry, providing high-qualityengineering, on-time service delivery, and skilled personnel pairedwith innovative technology and creative solutions. Specialtiesinclude OSP/ISP engineering, design, permitting, right-of-way andCAD for traditional and wireless telecommunications companies. TheOSP Engineer will perform various OSP field engineering and designfunctions revolving around ethernet and fiber projects including,but not limited to, site surveys, field engineering, and CAD ofaerial, underground, and buried telecommunication systems.
Responsibilities:
OSP staking, work order package preparationincluding but not limited to field notes, cut sheets, schematics,and acquiring permits and private rights-of-way. OSP design andplanning, construction. Have the ability to perform cost analysisto determine the most cost effective and efficient manner of theplacement of communications facilities.
Qualifications:
Experiencewith FTT• and Ethernet projects Must have AutoCAD experience, alongwith Fieldwork and Site Survey experience Previous experience in amulti-tasking, results oriented position in a deadline focuseddepartment Previous experience in aerial, buried and undergroundoutside plant; construction experience is a plus Strongcommunication and computer skills OSP experience A solid anddiverse fielding background Good computer skills Must perform workwith minimal supervision for a designated areas, includingpotential for any special projects as determined by managementwithin the company
