Your role will involve guidingdesigners in the development of software interfaces, ensuringbest-in-class interaction design, visual design, and userexperience (UX). Team Leadership:

Oversee the execution of product designers,ensuring their work meets high standards in interaction design, UI,and human-centered design.

Creation and Craft:

Develop strongunderstanding of products by helping to lead the creation ofworkflows, user prototypes, wireframes, and visualdesigns

User-Centered Advocacy:

Champion user-centered designprinciples in all projects

Strategic Guidance:

Collaborate withteams to align design efforts with Meltwater’s core businessobjectives, executing on the priorities and facilitatingcollaboration through design-driven processes.

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:

Engage with designers and developers to ensurealignment with development requirements and systems documentation.

Work with UX design research team to identify user pain points,assess products, and identify UX opportunities.

Mentorship:

Serve asa direct manager and mentor to designers, modeling exemplarybehavior and defining what constitutes “great” design.

PartnershipDevelopment:

Collaborate with product managers (PMs), and directorsto foster strong design and user experience outcomes.

Facilitationof Innovation:

Lead teams through ideation, feasibilityassessments, and story-mapping workshops to enhance design anddevelopment processes.

Design Process Communication:

Act as a designsteward by communicating the design process to cross-functionalleaders, promoting a holistic view of user experience across theend-to-end journey.

Design Quality Assurance:

Conduct reviews ofdesigns through product-based evaluations and system-wideassessments.

Design Planning:

Create important design plans thataddress the UX creation and product releases.

Inspiration andSupport:

Inspire your teams and provide essential support forpersonal growth.

User Experience Metrics:

Drive user experiencemetrics and assess design effectiveness through research and usertesting.

Culture Building:

Be a strong contributor to design culturewhile continuously helping the design practice to grow.

What You’llBring:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Design/Visual UIDesign/UI/UX.At minimum 3-5 years of experience managing a designteamMinimum of 3-5 years working in SaaS and enterpriseapplications.

Ability to analyze user feedback effectively and usedata to inform decision-makingYou have a point of view on industrybest practices and design principlesDemonstrated ability to deliverproducts with a focus on final outcomes.

Strong communication skillsfor presenting ideas clearly to business stakeholders.

Strongexperience collaborating with engineering teams to refine UXExpertproficiency in FigmaStrong understanding of the Design Thinkingprocess stages.

Experience collaborating with other designers/designteams for system-wide improvements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inDesign or a related field.

Familiarity with front-end technologiessuch as React and MUI.
