We’re seeking future team members for the role of Senior DesignLead (VP to Director) to join our Design Practice in service ofnewly built client and enterprise platforms. This role can be basedout of our NYC, NY, Lake Mary, FL, or Pittsburgh, PA offices -Hybrid. I n this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Set the Product design standards and ensures solutions are easy touse and have optimal user experience in line with overall businessvision Help teams define and shape the experience strategy,facilitating work sessions with stakeholders and users to definekey design goals and requirements Guide designers on designstrategy related to research insights, execution, continuousintegration, and automated deployment Mentor and coach the designteams, specifically with new ways of working and mapping strategyto execution Identify and remove team impediments Work withExecutive Product Manager and Product Owners to align the roadmapto vision and continuous insights to ensure voice of the customeris heard Constantly look for better ways of solving technicalproblems and designing the solution, not afraid to challenge thestatus quo Synthesize customer insights, research, and journeys byeach team at the journey level To be successful in this role, we’reseeking the following: Expertise Ability to direct clear andcreative artifacts Seasoned design expertise with deep insight intonewest methods, trends, and design operations Drives designoutcomes in an Agile environment Can make design decisions at ateam and product level Experience working on projects that spanmultiple organizations and business units Individual skills Strongcommunication skills with ability to align the organization oncomplex product decisions while advocating the voice of thecustomer Active coach and mentor Mindset & Behaviors High-energyand passionate outlook, with an ability to influence and inspirethose around them Exhibits strong customer empathy Hands-on problemsolver Promotes free thought, collaboration, transparency – isenergized by ideas from others in team At BNY, our culture speaksfor itself.
