$140K – $187K a year 17 hours ago Qualifications CSS Bootstrap Angular UX Senior level Leadership HTML 10 years Full Job Description UX Designer The Role In this UX Design role, you will spearhead our design efforts. You will help establish standards and best practices to create world-class streamlined user experiences that best support our investment professionals. Your expertise allows us to consider interactive design, usability, accessibility, and responsive frontend architecture, thereby ensuring that our digital products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user centric. You will also contribute to the group’s shared knowledge of user-centric design and advocate for users in the face of delivery pressure. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 10+ years of UX or related design experience in a professional setting Experience providing design and product thought leadership across a large team creating artifacts to align stakeholders and teams An understanding of how User Interfaces are built in HTML and CSS and some familiarity with popular component libraries like Angular Material/Bootstrap Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better Experience defining the design work and delivering business outcomes across multiple product teams, with minimal guidance and coaching Effective communication of the why behind design decisions, presentation, and storytelling skills; equally at ease speaking with developer or business partners Asset Management or related Investment Applications Design experience a plus Should be a self-starter who can work with ambiguity while owning the outcome, knowing when to shift priorities For consideration, a digital portfolio we can review online is required The Team The High Income and Alternatives Technology team develops the proprietary internal software systems used to manage over $120 Billion in investments across High Yield, Emerging Market, Real Estate and other alternative credit markets.
